I knew from the start

That there’s something about you that I could not define

It turned out in time

That I was right about what the feelings I felt deep inside

We started talking all the time

About everything we could

It’s like finding my own comfort zone in you

You say, how was your day and asked if everything’s alright

I said, I’m good, I’m fine as long you are in sight

You say, look at the time, it’s late, then greeted  me goodnight

I said, goodnight is all I needed, for me to sleep tight

Days have passed

I haven’t heard from you like it was just like that

I waited and I hoped

I kept staring at the clock until I finally gave up

You suddenly text messaged me

Explained why you’re gone

You called me up and we talked for some time

You say, how was your day and asked if everything’s alright
